EAST BRUNSWICK - DR. ROMEO B. ANDULAN passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 85 years old.
Born in Balayan, Batangas, Philippines to Segundo and Filomena Andulan. He immigrated to the United States in 1985 living in Queens and Jersey City for 22 years; Las Vegas and East Brunswick for 16 years.
Prior to retiring in 2005, he was a Medical Doctor for the mission hospitals in Nigeria, Africa for 20 years. His passion was to heal and save as many lives as he could. He later worked for Beth Israel Medical Center and Hoffman Center in New York City continuing to care and touch so many lives throughout his career.
Romeo married his wife, Purisima Nazareno on December 21, 1959, and together they had four children. As a family they enjoyed traveling, singing, dancing and celebrating with family and friends. He was always a kind, patient, humble and hardworking husband and father.
Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Purisima N. Andulan; their children, Belinda A. Gamotin of Canada, Romeo N. Andulan Jr. and his spouse, Dana, of Jersey City, Rona Remdes and her spouse, Vijay, of Georgia, and Rhea Andulan of East Brunswick; a son to him, Edwin Rosario of Pennsylvania; his sister, Aida Castillo of Florida; his brothers, Reynaldo Andulan and his spouse, Star Ortega, of Florida, Roger Andulan and spouse, Linda, of Guam; six grandchildren and their partners, Darrel and Christine, Desiree, Denys and Richie, Cody and Ariane, Courtney and Thomas, and Vhance, and one great-granddaughter, Kaiya.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, at The Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 25th, at 9:30 am, at St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.

Heavenly Father, we humbly ask that you hear our prayer for the soul of our beloved Uncle Romy as he passes from this life into eternity. Please embrace our Uncle into your loving arms and grant him rest in the company of other beloved members of the family in heaven. May Uncle Romy bask in the light of your grace and the fullness of your love surrounded by angels in perfect eternal peace.
We also pray for those who are left behind, that we may find comfort in your presence, the promise of eternal life, and the hope of seeing one another again. In your precious name we pray, Amen.
