JERSEY CITY - HANAA BERTI MISHREKI passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She was 70 years old.

Born in Egypt, to Berti and Moufida (née Rezk) Guirguis, she immigrated to America in 1986, where she lived in Bayonne for 31 years before moving to Jersey City.

Prior to retiring in 2021, she was the office manager for her husband's medical firm in Bayonne for over 20 years.

In her leisure time, Hanaa loved serving the Lord and spending time with her family and friends. She was passionate about her service to the Lord and the church bookstore.

Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years, Dr. Nader Mishreki; son, Rafik Mishreki and his wife, Nancy, of South River; her daughters, Sally Batarseh and her husband, Fadi, of Parsippany and MaryGrace Mishreki of Jersey City, and her grandchildren, Gabriella Batarseh, Jacob Batarseh, Joshua Mishreki and Benjamin Mishreki.

A celebration of Hanaa's life will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm, at Sayre Woods Bible Church, 2290 US-9, Old Bridge, under the direction of The Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 17th, from 9:00 to 10:00 am, at Sayre Woods Bible Church, with a service to begin at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Rosemount Memorial Park, Elizabeth. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.
