SOUTH RIVER - LORRAINE PATNAUDE passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2023, at St Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by her loving family. She was 95 years young.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Lorraine married and resided in Old Bridge for 35 years, retired to Deltona, Florida in 1991. In 2012, Lorraine moved to South River with her daughter and family.

Lorraine was a homemaker for the majority of her married life. In later years, she was employed by The Boy Scouts of America. Lorraine was an extremely skilled seamstress, there was nothing she couldn't create or alter, often making clothes and costumes for her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid flea market shopper.

Lorraine was predeceased by her loving husband, Eugene, of 63 years; her son, Eugene Patnaude the 3rd; her grandson, Albert Patnaude and son-in-law, Charles Stark JR.

Surviving are her daughter, Laura Stark of South River; her sister, Penny Couture of Andover, MA; her grandchildren, James and his wife, Christine Patnaude, of Plaistow, NH, Craig and his wife, Alyssa Stark, of Oxford, CT, Sheri Stark and her partner, Michael Lamoreaux, of South River, NJ and Angela Patnaude of Spotswood, NJ. Lorraine has four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, January 29th, 2023, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, where a service will be held at 1:30 pm. Entombment will be private. For directions, please visit our services page.
