MONROE TOWNSHIP- MYRON L. HENRY passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 70 years old.
Born in New York, NY to Clifton and Esmeralda Henry, he resided in East Brunswick for 25 years before settling down in Monroe Township 6 years ago.
Myron was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church, East Brunswick.
He loved traveling. Throughout the years he enjoyed road trips with the family. Then Cruising became his favorite pastime. Other than traveling his greatness lifetime passion was comic books. In the last 10 years or so his comic books have become movies. He was thrilled to see them come alive on the big screen. Along with the comic books he really liked Karate and Kung Fu movies. Myron, loved to sing and dance. Myron, especially valued to be with the grandkids they brought him so much Joy.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Sheila; their son, Paul Lee and his wife, Melissa, of FL, their Daughter, Qyana Hodgewright of East Brunswick, Son, Shawn Hodgewright of Mexico, and Son, Brandon Henry of Monroe Township; his brothers, Clifton Henry and his wife, Sylvia, of Long Island, NY, Milton Henry Sr. and his wife, Valerie, of Queens, NY, Roy Malone and his wife, Lisa, of Mount Vernon, NY; his sister, Wanda Saunders of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Faline Hodgewright, Chase O'Keefe, Angel Lee, Nasir Lee and Jasmine Lee. His Mother-in-Law, Pauline Coltrane, Sister's in-law: Mercedes Youman, of NY, Yvonne Cummings, of NJ, and Joan Daugherty, of GA; Cousin Rita Shields, of NY; Friend Orlando Green, of NY; and a host of loving Nieces, Nephews, and cousins, Grand Nieces and Nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23rd, 2022, at 9:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.

Words can't express this loss. My deepest condolences to the rest of the Henry family. Uncle Myron will truly be missed but never forgotten. We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend Myron. We had fun, good laughs, conversations and so much more when we were together. George and I know how much you loved Sheila and your family and you knew how much they loved you too. We loved you too, but much more than just a friend. You will always be remembered for who you were, a kind, thoughtful, caring and loving man. Thank you for being a part of our lives.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my brother in law Myron. We had amazing conversations about politics during Biden’s election, family & life in general.
