EAST BRUNSWICK - THOMAS F. SZOLD JR. passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at RWJ Barnabas University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 74 years old.

Born in Bronx, NY, to Thomas and Irene (neé Stetz) Szold, he resided in Edison before settling in East Brunswick 39 years ago.

Tom had his own IT Consulting business, TFS Information Systems Inc., for 45 years.

Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his grandsons. He was the happiest with a pipe in hand putzing around the garage, sitting outside with a cup of coffee, or having an afternoon nap. He was often quiet, but loved to tell long stories about his life throughout the years when the time was right.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Karen; his son, Thomas and his wife, Felissa, of Lawrenceville; his daughter, Katherine and her wife, Julia, of Highlands; his sisters, Theresa Mohrman, and her husband, Robert, of Edison, Irene, of Florida; his two grandchildren, Matthew Thomas and Bryson Nicholas; and his niece, Eva.
