SOMERSET - JUDY GERNERT (née Geer) passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 58 years old.

Born in New Brunswick to John and Dolores (née Hodkiewicz) Geer, she was raised in East Brunswick and Lawrence, KS before relocating to Somerset in 1990. She graduated from Lawrence High School in Lawrence, KS and attended Platt College in Topeka, KS. She was employed as a Financial Associate at Syneos Health.

Judy was an avid reader, who enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Gernert, in 2018.

Surviving are her three children, Cheyenne, Dakota and Russell Gernert, all of Somerset; her parents, John and Dolores Geer of Somerset; her sister, Jackie Hassett of Pacific Palisades, CA, and her brother, Russell Geer of Plainfield, IL.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, where a service will be held at 1:30 pm. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.
