EAST BRUNSWICK - ALICE M. SOKOLOWSKY passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at her home. She was 92.
Born in Duryea, PA, she resided in Easton, PA and Bound Brook, NJ before moving to East Brunswick 70 years ago.
Alice loved being a mother to her five children and worked various jobs as a clerk and bookkeeper, mostly to pass the time.
She enjoyed living for her family - they were the most important.
Alice was predeceased by her husband, George in 1995; her son, George in 2005; her daughter, Mary Pillo in 2018, and by her brothers, John Shedlock, Joseph Shedlock and Benedict Shedlock.
Surviving are her sons, William "Bill" Sokolowsky and his wife, Yvette, of Wimauma, FL, David "Dave" Sokolowsky and his wife, Susan M., of Downington, PA, and James "Jim" Sokolowsky and his wife, Paula, of Spotswood; daughter-in-law, Kathy Sokolowsky of East Brunswick; son-in-law, Michael Pillo of Parish, FL; sister, Lucille Kizner of Manhattan, NY, and grandchildren; William Jr. "BJ", Kate, Laura, Ben, George "Alex", Nick and Kevin.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 6:00PM - 9:00 PM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 10:15am, at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, Old Bridge. Interment will follow at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. For directions or to leave a message of condolence, please visit the 'Services' page.
