EAST BRUNSWICK - HENRY F. McCAWLEY passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 70 years old.
Born in 1951 to May (née Compton) and Henry Francis McCawley in New Brunswick, Henry made his home in East Brunswick for over 25 years.
A man of few words, he was a proud father, grandfather and loved his family and friends dearly. Henry had a love for classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows on the weekends with his 1975 Corvette Stingray. Henry took pride in everything that he did, including being a dedicated dump truck driver with Lucas Brother's Inc., Morganville, where he worked for the last 26 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carmella, in 2018.
Surviving are his son, Danny McCawley and his wife, Katie, of Monroe Township; his daughter, Kristina Rivera and her husband, Jorge, of Freehold Township, and six grandchildren, Taylor, Ella, and Kara McCawley and Angelo, Marcelo, and Carmella Rivera.
Funeral visitation will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

Henry came into my family a little over a year ago and was so good to my mother and my family. We are so grateful for having him in our lives, even though it was for a short time. May the lord bless his family and friends as we mourn this loss.
