EAST BRUNSWICK- My dearest brother, Frank Anthony Holoquist, age 54, departed this earth to join our beloved parents, Francis and Josephine Holoquist, in the heavenly realms.
Frank's life was taken far too young from his courageous battle with cancer.
He was a proud patriot who served his country in the United States Air Force from 1985-1989. He earned an Associate's Degree from Devry University and worked as an Engineer Technician at AFP Transformers in Edison, NJ for more than 30 years.
Frank enjoyed life and loved living! He was full of laughter and loved having memorable moments with his family and friends. He will be missed tremendously!
Surviving are his sister, Karen Holoquist-Tierney and husband, Francis Tierney, of Parlin; cousin, Bernard Holoquist and his wife, Erica, and their two children, Jennica and Christian Holoquist of Oneota, NY.
A celebration of Frank's life will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 1:00-3:00pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind, www.afb.org.
Frank was an excellent worker, always available to work and do was needed, always with a smile in his face.
We will miss him so much, it was a short time period I met him but I felt like I met him for a long time.
My deep condolences to his family and friends, he always be remembered as a great person.

Frank was one of my oldest, dearest friends and it pains me that we lost contact. Growing up in London Terrace drew us together, and we bonded senior year with our frequent trips to Carlos Pizza for a slice and an O’Douls “near beer” during school lunches. We thought we were so cool…
We drifted apart when we hit our thirties, but he kept in touch through our friend Marc. I wish he had reached out sooner but respect his privacy and strength.
My deepest condolences for the loss to the family of this dear soul. Frankie is being remembered by many right now for his cheery disposition and smile. I cannot make the memorial service but will be thinking about him for some time.

Heaven has gained another beautiful angel. Frank you were my first love, my best friend. So many wonderful years together. I thank you for all the love and memories. We are all going to miss you dearly. My heart is broken, but I know that you are not suffering anymore. I will always carry you in that special place in my heart. Rest in eternal peace. We love you and will miss you deeply.
Today we gained another angel.
Life does this thing where it takes away life from those who radiate nothing but sunshine. The people who have smile creases from smiling to much, the ones with the contagious laughs.
You were and are loved by so many. Thank you for all the old movie nights and for sneaking me all the snacks at Tia’s house. Thank you for trying to teach me how to play tennis and old video games. I hope in heaven you are no longer suffering. We love and miss you very much.
