Old Bridge, Eleanor Rose (Morgan) Dudek passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Jewish Home in Freehold. She was 87.
Born in Elizabeth, she resided in Roselle Park before moving to Old Bridge in 1962.
Eleanor was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Old Bridge. She also made party favors for the various events the church held, and was highly involved with their senior program.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, using her luck to the fullest. She enjoyed crafting, BINGO, and creating party favors for various parties. Known for "Nanny's Brownies", brownies so good, that they stopped any event, especially the East Brunswick Bowling Events she and Chester attended.
She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Morgan, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Chester T. Dudek of Old Bridge; her daughter, Suzanne Taureck and husband Robert, of East Brunswick; her three grandchildren, Craig Taureck, Dana O'Donnell and her husband, Bryan of Bel Air, MD, and Allyson, her two sisters-in-law, Gloria Morgan, and Rosemarie Dudek.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 9:30AM at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:15AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle, RC Church in Old Bridge. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Friends may visit on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. For directions, please visit the "Services" page.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Chester would be greatly appreciated.
I remember Eleanor being at Bud and Edna’s house when we were all much younger . She was a lovely woman who adored her grandchildren. I am so very sorry for your loss . Jane Weinheimer
