EAST BRUNSWICK - FRANK LOUIS NICKISHER passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019, at The Chelsea At East Brunswick. He was 84.
Born in Allentown, PA, he resided there until relocating to East Brunswick 50 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 2000, he was a baker for White Castle Bakery in Carteret for 40 years.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served as an airman from 1956-1959. Frank loved the birds and the sea, was hardworking, charming, and stubborn to the end.
Frank / "Grampy Oats" / "Jake" was predeceased by his wife of nearly 50 years, Barbara (Eckert) in 2014.
Surviving are his two daughters, Kim Iacono of Millsboro, DE, and Pam Nickisher of East Brunswick, and one grandson, Luke.
