New York - Esperanza Espósito passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019, at the Dawn Greene Hospice, Manhattan, NY. She was 68.
Born in Céspedes, Cuba, she resided in Parlin, before moving to New York a few months ago.
Prior to retiring in 2013, she was a logistics finance coordinator for ACL, where she worked for 7 years. Prior to that, she also worked for The Bowery and SBLI as a Bank Manager.
Esperanza was a communicant of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, East Brunswick
She was predeceased by her father, Rosendo Expósito, and her sister, Estela Rangel.
Surviving are her mother, Blanca Expósito of Old Bridge; her niece, Rebecca Campón, and her husband, José, of New York, NY; great-nephews, Lorenzo and Alessandro Campón; nephew, Michael Rangel of East Brunswick; a cousin, Gisela Y. (Mina) Egusquiza of Parlin, NJ; and her beloved Havanese, Mojito.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11th, 8:45AM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew RC Church, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen.

We thank God for Experanza's life and for her love of family. She had a great heart and was always thinking of others. We wish we could be there for the services, but our hearts and our thoughts are with and her and the whole family.

I’m so sorry for your loss. The bible is so true when it mentions “the sting of death”. Death is truly painful for family and friends. The God of the bible Jehovah says he's going to “swallow up death forever and bring back to life on earth all those who have died in his memory” (Isaiah 25:8). This scripture has given me comfort and I pray you receive comfort from it also.
