OLD BRIDGE - PATRICIA MARY (CLARKE) MORRIS died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick NJ, surrounded by her family. She was 87.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she attended St. Theresa's Grammar School and St. Joseph High School. She resided there before moving to Old Bridge in 1961.
After years of raising her family, she returned to work as a secretary for Merritt & Harris, New York, where she worked until her retirement. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved traveling with her husband Tom.
Pat was a founding communicant of St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, having served as past president.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Morris, in 2008; and a brother, Jack Clarke.
Surviving are her 4 sons, Thomas Jr. (Terry), of Concord, NH, Robert (Denise) of Middlesex, James (Susan), and John (Eileen), both of Old Bridge; 3 daughters, Mary Pat Adams (Michael), of Hillsborough, Frances O'Connor (Michael), of Old Bridge, and Eileen Zano (Dominic), of Monroe Township; a brother, Francis Clarke and his wife, Alice, of East Meadow, NY; a sister, Anne O'Brien of Glenview, NY; and 11 grandchildren, Meagan (Scott), Sean (Kristen), Kaitlyn, Kelley, Christopher, Kevin, Patrick, Matthew, Julia, Kerry and Jack, along with 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12th, 9:45 AM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
