Staff

Brunswick Memorial Home is privileged to have some of the finest funeral service professionals on its staff. These professional and support staff work closely together to provide families with the thoughtful and considerate service you deserve. From our owner, to our directors, office staff, and part-time help, every member of our staff is dedicated to making a difficult time easier for those we serve.

In a profession that has traditionally been strictly family members only, we are quite unique and progressive to have some of the finest funeral directors who have chosen this field not because it's their family business, but because they felt a calling. This unique perspective brings ideas and contributions that keep us up-to-date and bring a fresh approach to serving our families.

Each member of our staff works here because they want to, and because they believe in caring for others. Many of them are also active members of our community, and involved in all sorts of fraternal, church and volunteer organizations.

For all that our staff members give us, and the families we serve, we make a strong commitment to our staff with ongoing training, seminar attendance and continuing education. All of this training allows us to provide you with the most professional knowlegeable staff available.

To encourage up-and-coming funeral directors, we work closely with our local Mortuary School, and routinely have student trainees on our staff. We value the opportunity to teach and encourage funeral service students, many of whom have become valuable members of our service team.

Peter Kulbacki

Owner and Manager

Peter Kulbacki The Kulbacki family was part of the original homesteaders in East Brunswick, and Peter Kulbacki is the 3rd generation to make East Brunswick their home. In fact, our facility stands on the original Kulbacki farm.

A graduate of Mercer College's Funeral Service Program, Peter is active in over a dozen fraternal and civic organizations, and has held office or served on the boards of most of them, including the Chamber of Commerce and Funeral Directors Associations. Civic and social responsibility has been a core value of the Kulbacki family, and in fact, Peter and his wife, Diane, met while serving together on the volunteer rescue squad in town where both of them held various offices and are Life Members. Both of them continue to be leaders in charitable and community activities to this day, and it appears that their 3 sons have inherited their parents' sense of civic responsibility and leadership.

Though a first generation funeral director, Peter had built the Brunswick Memorial Home into the award-winning, premier funeral service provider in our area. A strong believer in continuing education, he devotes a significant part of his schedule to seminars and conferences to maintain and build our reputation as a leading community resource offering the latest and most useful programs to the families we are privileged to serve.

Eugene S. Norton

Assistant Manager and Funeral Director

Eugene NortonA licensed funeral director since 1998, Mr. Norton joined the staff of The Brunswick Memorial Home in 2007.  A former business owner himself, Gene acutely appreciates the value of exceptional service not only in setting our firm apart from others, but more so because families experiencing a loss deserve nothing less.  Gene is responsible for supervising all day to day service activities for our funeral home, as well as seeking new and innovative ways to better serve.  A progressive thinker and innovator, Gene spends a good deal of time attending conferences and seminars to ensure our staff and our offerings are in keeping with the needs of the families we are privileged to serve.

Amy Westpy

Office Manager

Amy Westpy

Amy joined Brunswick Memorial Home in 2005, with many years of administrative support work in various industries. Her exceptional organizational skills, professional manner and attention to detail contribute to best serve our families. Without her extraordinary talent, our office couldn't function, and she's been responsible for streamlining many of our procedures. Amy is active in her church, where her gift for organization has led her to oversee ministries and large projects.

While Amy is an integral part of our success at Brunswick Memorial Home, she is unlicensed as a funeral director and is not qualified to make funeral arrangements, embalm, or conduct a funeral.
