OLD BRIDGE - GLORIA ERCEG GRAU, age 89, died peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge.
Born on January 21, 1928, in New York to Mary (Mitzi) and Jacob (Jack) Erceg, Gloria grew up in Avenel, NJ. She worked as a secretary in New York City before moving to Washington, D.C., where she met her husband, John. They moved to California while John earned his degree to become a Veterinarian. Shortly after, they returned home to New Jersey, where she was a long time resident of Old Bridge.
She was predeceased by her husband in 2010.
Gloria is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Susie, and her two beloved grandchildren, Julia and Jack, all of Millstone Township; her brother, Mitchell, of Edison, and three nieces, Michelle and Bobby Giordano, Jacquee and Kenny Markel and Janine and Joe Apruzzese.
Friends may call on Wednesday, from 5-8 PM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. For directions please see the "Services" page.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:15 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Burial service will be on Wednesday, 11/15, at 10:30 AM, at Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
