SPOTSWOOD - JAMES B. HEIRY, JR. died Friday, August 4th, 2017, at his home. He was 80.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, he resided in Spotswood for the past 54 years.
Prior to retiring in 1994, he worked as a foreman at Dupont in Parlin for 29 years.
Mr. Heiry was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Spotswood.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Council #4907, Knights of Columbus of Spotswood and the Raritan Bay Power Squadron. James enjoyed golfing, bowling, and boating in the Barnegat Bay area. He bowled a 300 game and 747 series at Edison Lanes in 1978.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edith (nee Hardy) and James B. Heiry, Sr. as well as three of his sisters; Dorothy Duck, Eileen Naylor, and Roberta Gardini.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Barbara (nee Pirint); daughters, Joan Glenn and Judith Dzielak, and her husband, Robert; sisters, Joan Serre, and her husband, Ray, and Pat Harkay; grandchildren, Avana and David; and a great-granddaughter, Kimora.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 10th, at 9:30 AM in The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:15 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Spotswood. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
